The Opportunity
We are seeking a fully qualified and experienced plumber to join our skilled team, working across maintenance and emergency plumbing services for the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH). This role offers a dynamic opportunity to broaden your skills within a supportive environment focused on precision, integrity, and continuous growth. We are looking for plumbers in both South-Eastern Suburbs, Northern Suburbs of Melbourne and Inner City.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-standard plumbing maintenance and urgent repairs across government and residential facilities.
* Respond promptly to emergency call-outs, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient resolutions.
* Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving water, drainage, and other plumbing systems.
* Liaise with DFFH representatives, tenants, and site managers in a professional and respectful manner.
* Complete compliance and safety documentation to required standards.
* Work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a responsive team.
What We're Looking For
* Fully qualified plumber with current Victorian plumbing registration and license.
* Proven experience in general maintenance and emergency plumbing services.
* Sound knowledge of Australian Standards and OH&S compliance.
* Ability to problem-solve under pressure while maintaining quality workmanship.
* Excellent communication and time management skills.
* Willingness to participate in ongoing training and skill development.
* Valid driver's licence
