A leading national firm is seeking a capable and motivated
Graduate Lawyer or Junior Lawyer (0–2 PAE)
to join their General Insurance team in Brisbane. This position offers rare early exposure to complex matters, senior mentorship, and direct client engagement. Working closely with partners and senior lawyers, you'll gain experience across: Commercial and property damage claims Motor vehicle insurance disputes General liability litigation and risk advisory Drafting legal documents and client correspondence Appearing in various courts and tribunals Building long-term client relationships through meaningful involvement This is an excellent pathway for those looking to develop deep technical skills in insurance litigation, with clear progression and mentoring support. What You’ll Bring
Law degree (completed) with admission (or close to) in Queensland Some experience or exposure to litigation (through PLT, clerkship, or employment) Strong written and verbal communication skills Commercial awareness and a genuine interest in insurance law Ability to work collaboratively in a team and take initiative on tasks Confidence in managing deadlines and priorities in a structured environment Why Join?
