Swaggle is Australia's newest online pet retail startup. With over a year in market, and some incredible growth, we are looking for an eCommerce Specialist who can help improve site conversion and basket size through a polished and easy online experience. This is a startup environment, fast-paced with the challenges and benefits that come with rapid growth.
What You'll Be Doing
Own the day-to-day operations and customer-facing presentation of the Swaggle online store, ensuring timely, accurate, and polished execution of weekly product releases, campaigns, and content updates.
Execute and maintain the online merchandising and promotional strategy in line with commercial objectives — ensuring products, pricing, and offers are correctly configured and live as planned.
Optimise site search, navigation, and overall user experience to support discoverability, path-to-purchase, and conversion.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Merch, Operations, Customer Service, and Tech to ensure end-to-end alignment and a seamless customer experience across digital and fulfilment.
Leverage data, insights, automation, and SEO best practices to improve site performance, efficiency, and support ongoing eCommerce growth.
Act as the final checkpoint for outgoing eCommerce changes — responsible for validating releases, reviewing site updates, and ensuring quality before anything goes live.
What You'll Bring
2–4 years' experience in an eCommerce specialist or similar website operations role.
Shopify Plus experience preferred (content management, theme configuration, promotion setup, tagging).
Proven execution capability in a fast-paced, online retail environment.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, Customer Service, Tech, and Marketing, and a proven ability to communicate effectively based on varied stakeholder needs.
Strategic understanding of digital merchandising, site navigation, SEO, and customer experience best practices, with a drive to continuously optimise how we show up to customers online.
Exposure to analytics tools (e.g., GA, UX analytics, Shopify reports, BI dashboards).
Demonstrated delivery of business key indicator improvements over a 12-month period, with a focus on optimising processes to meet goals.
