**About the Role**
Australian Green Clean has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motived Account Manager to join our Head Office in Hindmarsh. This is a client-facing and people management role, responsible for delivering operational requirements of commercial cleaning contracts, including;
- building and maintaining client relationships,
- overseeing the day to day management and scheduling of site supervisors and commercial cleaners,
- meeting contract budgets and
- completing cleaning inspections and audits.
A fast-paced role, requiring a 'Make it Happen' attitude and exceptional client & organisational skills. This is a permanent fulltime position with occasional after-hours required, including; responding to urgent client and employee requests.
**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
- Manage day to day operations to deliver key customer, budget & Gross Profit KPI's
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Determine staffing requirements, onboard and train new staff
- Lead and manage supervisors and staff, prepare work schedules and assign specific duties
- Complete monthly cleaning inspections and audits
- Prepare client proposals and assist with tender responses
- Implement and manage WH&S practices to achieve zero LTI's
- Monitor individual and team performance and workload and take action to address identifiable learning & development needs
- Proactively manage HR and employee performance issues, with a focus on productivity improvement
- Support supervisors and staff by building required competencies by training, providing feedback, managing behaviours and performance gaps
- Ensure services are provided to the highest standard and with staff speedily resolve issues

**What do we require from you?**
- Demonstrated experience in an account management position with a focus on service
- Industry experience in cleaning services, waste management or hygiene is highly advantageous but not essential
- Proficient in MS Office programs: Word, Excel & Outlook and apps
- Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
- High level of initiative and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Exceptional attention to detail & organisational skills
- Sound practical understanding of WH&S processes
- Strong communication and negotiating skills
- Able to undertake flexible hours of work including after-hours work and overtime as required
