Job Description
The Project Engineer will play a critical role in the delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring that they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interpret technical specifications and construction drawings to ensure compliance with contractual requirements;
* Draft and maintain detailed construction plans and methodologies to ensure efficient project execution;
* Evaluate QA procedures, ITPs, test methods, and reporting standards to ensure quality control;
* Prepare and gain approval for Construction Management Plans specific to the project;
* Collaborate with designers to resolve design challenges and troubleshoot formwork-related issues;
* Develop detailed construction work programmes and schedules for allocated work packages;
* Manage allocated scopes of work, including equipment, materials, and workforce, ensuring full compliance with all requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (postgraduate qualifications advantageous);
* A minimum 10 years post-graduate experience with a focus on remote infrastructure projects such as tunnels/diffusers/FRP;
* Demonstrated expertise in project engineering functions, including forecasting and cost tracking, budget management & end of month reporting process;
* Comfortable working in remote FIFO/DIDO environments on a 2:1 roster.
