An exciting opportunity now exists for a Business Development Manager to join our team at TCM Electronics.
The position is solely focused on creating new leads and expanding our already diverse and growing client base. This will involve supporting and ultimately taking on direct client relations with specific customers locally, nationally, and internationally. You will assist the clients in early stages of reviewing files, quoting, and making sure TCM offers the correct support and package to what the client requires.
The role is solely customer-focused, so exemplary client service skills and attributes are a must. These include:
* Ability to cold call and find new clients through any avenue possible
* Positive and clear phone communication
* Ability to action all client needs immediately
* Word and Excel experience with good Outlook (email) usage due to heavy email communication
* Knowledge and experience in the electronics industry will be considered favourably
* Able to follow clear strategic directions from the Managing Director with input from own experiences that may enhance current programs
You will have the flexibility of working from home and on the road.
TCM Electronics has been a critical supplier in the procurement and assembly of electronics for over 32 years for all levels of electronics, predominantly the high-tech high-end market. The business covers all sectors of the electronics industry from mining, Defence, environmental, road safety, medical, industrial, food and beverage, automotive to name a few.
The overriding requirement for this role is client customer service. The ability to speak with any person on their level, being client or co-worker with the great asset of compassion and enthusiasm, understanding all client’s requirements are important and treated with urgency.
