**The Company** 
Our client is a leading electrical service company, which has an enviable record and strong pipeline of commercial projects they work on. 
They are now seeking to appoint an Accounts Payable Officer to join their supportive close nit team in the Northern Suburbs. 
**The Role** 
As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for: 
- Match invoices to Purchase Orders and process in accounting system 
- End of month payments as per trading terms and send remittance advices 
- Process staff expense claims, follow up on any discrepancies 
- Manage Accounts Payable inbox daily 
- Ensuring authorisation and approvals for payment of vendor invoices 
- Statement reconciliations 
- Credit card reconciliations 
- Enter timesheet and process payroll 
- Ad hoc tasks as required 
- Work effectively as part of a team whilst also having the ability to work autonomously when required 
**About You**: 
- 3 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable role 
- Experience in the Construction industry is preferred 
- Proficient with Microsoft, Excel, Word, and Office 365 
- Strong attention to detail and a good approach to prioritising tasks 
- A ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
