About the Role
An opportunity exists for a motivated and experienced Presentation & Construction Coordinator to join our Shire Presentation & Fleet Team. This position will coordinate maintenance and construction activities together with waste collection and Shire presentation initiatives relating to cleansing traffic and related infrastructure.
What you will be doing:
1. Lead, coordinate and supervise the Reactive Civil Maintenance Team including all operational activities carried out by the team (in-house and contracted).
2. Contribute to operational business plan development processes and to undertake research, scoping of services, delivery methodologies, service levels and performance outcome documentation as required.
3. Develop, maintain and regularly review service levels, maintenance activity specifications, standard operational procedures, safe work method statements and to ensure that operational activities are carried out in accordance with these documents and that performance standards are efficient and effective.
4. Undertake accident and incident investigations and reporting in accordance with Council requirements.
5. Develop and administer team rosters and arrange relief staff and/or contractors to cover staff leave and or to resource any maintenance, afterhours or emergency operational activities that may be directed from time to time.
6. Monitor work to maintenance activity specifications and schedules to ensure that operational activities deliver required service levels.
7. Investigate, action/resolve and report on Customer Requests, or identified service problem areas/complaints and undertake associated administrative tasks, including providing timely management advice to the manager.
8. Provide after-hours emergency support on a rotational roster.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have:
9. Tertiary degree qualifications in related discipline
10. Drivers Licence (Class C) - NSW
11. White Card - General Construction Induction
12. Significant practical experience in infrastructure asset maintenance including waste removal, civil maintenance and civil construction.
13. Extensive experience in the supervision and coordination of staff
14. Greater than 3 years’ experience in a similar role
Position details:
Permanent full-time role on a nine-day fortnight, W0189 Salary: starting from $105K + Superannuation + Council To and From Vehicle or Leaseback.
