About the role
Glassons, a leading fashion retailer, is seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Marion, SA store. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing a team of passionate retail professionals, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This is a full-time role, based in our Marion store.
What you'll be doing
1. Oversee all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and staff scheduling
2. Provide exceptional customer service and lead your team to deliver a consistently high level of service
3. Achieve and exceed store sales targets through effective staff management, inventory optimisation, and strategic promotions
4. Manage and develop a team of retail associates, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback
5. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant retail industry regulations
6. Collaborate with the regional and head office teams to implement new initiatives and drive continuous improvement
What we're looking for
1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably within the fashion industry
2. Proven track record of achieving sales and operational targets
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team
4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results
5. Proficient in using retail management systems and data analysis tools
6. Passionate about fashion and staying up-to-date with industry trends
