FinXL is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Banking client on a transformation engagement.
Responsibilities
- Drive the delivery of critical platform capabilities using AWS and Kubernetes
- Foster collaboration and ensure platform stability for a broad range of data use cases
- Enhance automation, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring practices
- Champion security, compliance, and risk management across the platform
- Adopt a proactive approach to production stability, cost management, and platform improvements
Key Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of enterprise experience as a Cloud / DevOps / Data Engineer
- Expertise in AWS cloud platforms and technologies (including Redshift or Glue) and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Big Data processing technologies (e.g., Hive, Spark, Starburst Presto)
- Strong scripting skills including Python and Bash
- Deep architectural and design pattern experience
- Proven ability to build consensus and drive technical decisions
