Job Description
We're seeking a seasoned Java professional to drive technical delivery and lead a high-performing engineering team. As Lead Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and delivering robust, scalable software solutions using Spring Boot.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and delivery of Java-based solutions
* Mentor junior engineers and guide them through the software development lifecycle
* Collaborate with cybersecurity, DevOps, and data specialists to ensure seamless integration and compliance across public sector systems
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Advanced experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring Data, REST, J2EE, Hibernate, SOAP, SQL, Oracle
* Proven track record in technical leadership, mentoring, and solution design
* Strong understanding of systems integration and web services
* Familiarity with SAFe Agile and release/change management
* Experience with configuration management tools
* Background in government or large-scale enterprise projects
* NV1 Clearance
