An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced Health Care Professional to lead the risk and compliance team. The role will provide expert knowledge and leadership that drives safety, quality and clinical governance excellence across Echuca Regional Health.

Key responsibilities include:
* Oversee the risk and compliance portfolio whilst leading and effectively managing the risk and compliance team including performance management, training and development
* Provide support for clinical governance through collection, analysis, monitoring and reporting of data to support opportunities for improvement
* Produce high level reports that provide data analysis and improvement actions for governance meetings
* Provide administrative oversight of organisational systems such as VHIMS and RLDatix ensuring local user access and configuration
* Provide support, direction and guidance to NSQHS standards leads and participate in preparation for organisational accreditation processes
* Actively participates in departmental and organisational meetings as required
Qualifications/experience required:
* Tertiary qualifications in a health-related profession and extensive experience in an acute hospital environment
* Extensive high level experience and sound knowledge of clinical governance, risk management, quality systems and accreditation processes
* Current Registration with relevant governing body
