Job Title: Landcare Facilitator
The Latrobe Catchment Landcare Network is seeking a highly motivated individual to develop and support local partnerships, enhance communication strategies, and increase awareness of Landcare within the catchment.
This role involves working closely with various stakeholders, including community groups, industry partners, and government agencies. Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the achievement of objectives set by the Landcare Network Board, through the completion of activities as directed.
* Strengthening the capacity of Landcare member groups and networks by promoting information sharing, cooperation, collaboration, and networking across the region.
* Developing and supporting local partnerships by assisting groups with prioritising tasks, raising awareness of Landcare, and improving communication strategies throughout the Latrobe Catchment.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess relevant technical qualifications in Natural Resource Management or environmental science, as well as experience in community development and partnership building.
They must also have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships across diverse stakeholders.
A well-developed organisational skillset, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities, is essential for success in this role.
