About the Role: Play a vital role in developing high-quality learning and assessment materials. The work will contribute to the success of students pursuing vocational education and training with our clients.
Responsibilities:
* Design and develop learning and assessment tools and resources.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers (as required) to ensure assessments align with industry standards and requirements.
* Conduct research and analysis to ensure assessment materials meet regulatory and compliance guidelines.
* Write clear and concise assessment instructions and marking criteria.
* Develop a range of assessment formats, including written assessments, case studies, practical demonstrations, and projects. Develop assessment tasks that can be conducted in a simulated workplace environment.
* Review and update existing assessment materials to ensure they are up-to-date and relevant.
* Collaborate with the wider team to ensure timely delivery of assessment materials.
Requirements:
* Strong knowledge and understanding of the hospitality industry is desired but not essential.
* Experience in developing learning and assessment materials for vocational education and training programs.
* Familiarity with the Australian VET sector, including regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and error-free assessment materials.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Proficient computer skills and experience with relevant software tools.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
