The Chance
We’re seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our team. This role is hands-on and offers exposure to a wide range of jobs, ensuring no two days are the same.
This role will have variety, challenges, development opportunities and work across a diverse range of vehicles and machinery, including cars, trucks, farm machinery etc.
Key Tasks
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on vehicles, machinery, and equipment
- Install, service, and maintain auto electrical systems including lighting, control panels, sensors, and communication systems
- Perform fault finding on alternators, starters, wiring harnesses, battery systems, and more
- Carry out preventative maintenance and routine inspections
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard
- Maintain accurate records and job documentation
Skills and Experience (essential)
- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
- Current manual driver’s licence
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across a variety of electrical systems
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Initiative, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
