What you'll be doing
* Manage a diverse portfolio of QLD infrastructure projects built-form, energy, civil and 2032 Olympics-related works
* Lead, mentor and develop a team of Project Managers and Office Surveyors to deliver exceptional client outcomes
* Coordinate field survey delivery with the Manager – Field Operations to ensure fit-for-purpose outputs
* Act as the senior escalation point for client project issues, risks and incident management within the infrastructure stream
* Undertake technical processing work including GIS, survey data, linear infrastructure, USL and CAD design
* Drive business development activity attending industry events and cultivating a strong pipeline of new opportunities
* Champion health, safety and quality standards across all team and project activity
* Contribute to continuous improvement through process reviews, training guides and performance development
What you bring
* Minimum 15 years of technical experience in surveying or a related field
* Tertiary qualifications in Surveying (or equivalent relevant experience)
* Licensed / Cadastral registration in QLD is highly desirable
* Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex, multi-disciplinary project portfolios
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sharp attention to detail
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills from field teams to senior clients
* The drive to mentor others and build lasting capability within a growing team
