We are on the hunt for Full Time Team Leaders to join our Zamfam at our Oakleigh & Bentleigh restaurants.
About Us
We are Zambrero, Australia's largest Mexican franchise offering healthy, fresh food while fighting world hunger. We are a quick‐service restaurant that offers tasty burritos, bowls, nachos and tacos filled with homemade guac and other goodies. You will always work with yummy fresh ingredients that won't leave you smelling like you just came from work. Our restaurants are open day and night, so you can be flexible and keep up with work, school and play. We also donate one meal to someone in need for every bowl or burrito bought at Zambrero through our Plate 4 Plate initiative.
What You'll Do
* Leading the restaurant team in efficient day‐to‐day operations
* Being a role model for the standards and behaviours consistent with the Zambrero values and culture
* Assisting in training, developing, and driving the team to deliver positive and memorable customer experiences
* Assisting with hiring new team members and onboarding them
* Assisting in managing the team, including staff performance reviews and rostering staff
* Ensuring food is prepared, presented and served to the highest standard
* Assisting with ordering of stock from various suppliers
* Assisting with office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll and reviewing policies
* Managing daily and weekly cleaning of the production areas, dining room and general restaurant
* Assisting with executing marketing promotions
* Ensuring safety and security standards are recognised and upheld, and that employees are effectively trained in Workplace Health and Safety
What You'll Bring
* Previous shift supervisor experience
* Passionate about our humanitarian values and ready to make a difference
* Passionate about building a positive culture within the restaurant – focused on exceptional customer service, working together, helping those in need and making Zambrero an enjoyable place to work
* Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to both customers and colleagues
* Ability to maintain a professional, well‐groomed and neat appearance at all times
* Ability to multi‐task and adapt to changing customer levels as required
* Ability to adapt and succeed in a fast‐paced environment
