DTC Footwear Merchandising Manager Converse – Reports to G.M. Commercial & Merchandise
Drive the commercial performance of the Footwear category across DTC channels (On-Line, Mono & Outlet) by building compelling seasonal assortments, managing trade activity, and optimising inventory and markdown strategies to maximise sales and margin.
Responsibilities
* Build and present seasonal footwear ranges for DTC channels. Lead pitchback seasonal meetings with key stakeholders and deliver detailed seasonal overview files.
* Lead influence over seasonal & at-once ranging, allocations, pricing architecture and inventory decisions.
* Lead the weekly trade meeting from a Footwear performance POV. Review weekly sales & inventory reports and interpret appropriate actions against required KPI's.
* Inventory management.
* Store & Market Engagement.
Qualifications / About you
* Leadership skills and team management experience.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a buying or planning role preferably within Sport, Fashion, FMCG or similar industries.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal).
* Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, negotiation and influencing skills.
* Excellent time management and self‐motivation.
* Intermediate knowledge of MS Office applications; proficiency with MS Excel is a must.
