Job Description
As our Design Manager you'll lead the planning and technical design of data centre projects, ensuring innovative, scalable, and compliant solutions aligned with hyperscale requirements. You'll support delivery across all project phases from due diligence to handover, providing technical analysis and advice, and coordinating multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver high‑performance, resilient data centres with a focus on safety, buildability, prefabrication speed, and commercial outcomes.

Qualifications
* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers and specialty consultants
* Ability to delegate responsibilities, foster a collaborative and productive work environment, and maintain the respect and engagement of the workforce
* Capability to manage complex data centre designs and in‑depth understanding of technical principals, construction methods, materials, best practices, building codes, regulations, and safety standards
* Proficiency in design management and collaboration tools
* Ability to anticipate potential issues (e.g., design improvements, changing customer needs, unforeseen subsurface conditions), implement proactive measures, and resolve problems when they arise
* Ability to effectively manage multiple design projects and sub‑projects concurrently
* 5+ years' experience in data centre or mission‑critical design management
* Degree in Architecture, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Structural/Civil Engineering or other relevant industry qualification
* Experience working for consulting engineers, principal contractors or client‑side design management
