Due to expansion, we are now seeking additional team members to join our growing company. We work with both new and existing buildings providing solutions to complex building problems, together we consistently deliver outstanding technical support and high quality outcomes for our clients and their projects.
About you:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, motivated, and driven Level 1 or Level 2 Building Surveyor to join our team with an immediate start.
As the Building Surveyor, you will be required to demonstrate knowledge of State Building legislation, Building Code of Australia, and Residential Design Codes, have a commitment to providing a high level of internal and external customer service, and have good written and verbal communication skills. This role will require the successful applicant to be a registered Building Surveyor and possess local experience.
In addition to your building‐related knowledge and technical ability you will be eager to learn, an enthusiastic team player and contribute to process improvement. Must hold a valid Australian driver's licence, white card and be a permanent resident or citizen of Australia; we are unable to provide sponsorship at this time.
About the role:
* Process certified building applications for all classes of buildings.
* Provide technical comments and reports relating to building compliance matters to internal and external customers.
* Conduct inspections of existing building work for compliance, report on findings, and make recommendations for remediation where required.
* Ensure all projects comply with relevant building standards.
* Participate in ongoing improvement and business growth initiatives.
* Comply with relevant legislation and undertake quality audits when required.
* Work with the team to ensure Elite Compliance provides an effective and professional operation.
