Located in Kogarah approximately a 10 minute bus ride from Kogarah rail station.
The Cleaning Position provides a service to the facility according to a predetermined local service plan.
The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining all services, fittings, fixtures and furniture within their allocated area and waste service for patient and non -patient areas in accordance with the NSW Health Environmental Cleaning Policy PD2021_061.
Cleaning a variety of areas within the hospital including patient rooms, facilities and administration areas.
About you Experienced cleaner, preferrably with healthcare industry exposurecommunicativeservice mentalityAbility to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care KogarahAbility to undertake cleaning responsibilities in line with the required NSW Health Environmental Cleaning Policy.Ability to work as a member of a teamKnowledge of WH&S guidelines and Infection Control Principles.Previous experience cleaning within hospital environment or in a similar industry.Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills in both written and spoken English and including a commitment to customer service.
Basic computer skills with a strong work ethic that supports patient care.Demonstrated ability to problem solve and have effective time management skills and the ability to work a 7 day rotational roster.
