Overview
BAE Systems are recruiting for Boilermakers and Welders to relocate to Adelaide. Permanent, long-term career opportunity on a major defence shipbuilding program.
Salary : Rates starting from $44.81 per hour. Relocation assistance : $13,100 to assist with your move to Adelaide. Afternoon and night shift available with 30% uplift. 9 Day Fortnight. Long term job security and work-life balance benefits are available.
Responsibilities
- Undertake tasks and duties as directed by production supervision and/or trades trainer within bounds of current competence.
- Attend and complete relevant on-the-job training as required.
- Properly maintain materials, tools and equipment.
- Strive to continuously improve teamwork, processes and effectiveness in the work area.
- Adhere to BAE Maritime Australia policies and management practices.
About you
- Experience fabrication with MIG or Flux Core welding.
- Ability to read drawings.
- Strong safety focus and contribution to the site safety environment.
Clearances
As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances.
