Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Australian Human Resources & Recruitment Manager coordinates and manages human resources services, systems and activities for the Firm across the Australian offices. The Manager supports the leadership staff of Australia by providing consistent guidance and support on human resources and recruitment issues; the Manager reports to the Firm Human Resources Director and Counsel and the Australian Regional Director of Operations and has key stakeholders in the leadership in the four offices. The position is based out of the Firm's Sydney office; however, the position requires occasional travel to the Firm's Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth offices. The Manager is expected to perform all duties with a commitment to providing superior service, producing quality work and maintaining an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement. Above all, the Manager must fulfill the needs of the Firm in a manner which is consistent with its visions and values.
Required Qualifications
* Related bachelor's degree or higher.
* Minimum of eight (8) years' experience within Human Resources.
* Minimum of five (5) years' managerial experience in a corporate/ professional environment; professional services firm experience preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Strong working knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and regulations
* Confidentiality, judgment, discretion and tact.
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
* Ability to meet deadlines and respond to changing priorities
* Ability to work with a wide range of people in a team setting, ability to establish effective working relationships within the Offices and Firm.
