The Financial Director plays a pivotal role in developing and managing the financial strategy for our defence initiative. This involves ensuring alignment with program objectives and driving business success through strategic financial planning.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to program activities, including developing long-term financial strategies and corporate plans. You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders, provide financial decision support, and identify and mitigate financial risks.
As a seasoned professional, you will lead the finance team, providing direction and attainable yet challenging performance targets. Your experience in development and management of financial strategy, combined with your knowledge of financial principles, will be essential in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in development and management of financial strategy for new business establishments or Joint Ventures (JVs)
* Proven experience in strategic financial planning, with a strong focus on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
* Strong knowledge and understanding of financial principles, including reporting, risk management, and financial decision-making
* Experience in building relationships with key stakeholders, including internal and external partners
* Background in shipbuilding, defence, or heavy industry, with a keen understanding of the sector's complexities
* Demonstrated commitment to upholding high ethical standards and integrity in financial reporting and business practices
