About The Role
As a key member of the National Interests Section, you will play an important part in assessing new and emerging issues against regulatory frameworks and providing high quality advice across a range of activities.
The role includes developing and implementing regulatory policy and leading complex investigations, compliance and enforcement activity.
You will be responsible for evaluating new and emerging issues against regulatory frameworks and providing expert advice across a range of activities.
Although the role will focus on Triple Zero and outages work, you will be expected to contribute across the team when necessary, including diverse topics such as data breach matters.
The National Interests Section also oversees management of issues with law enforcement and security agencies and reporting on interception and data retention activities.

* Must have strong conceptual and analytical skills to apply to a wide range of telecommunications policy issues.
* Proven track record in delivering effective policy and regulatory outcomes and ability to work well in a fast paced and dynamic environment where meeting deadlines is essential.
* Demonstrated experience in leading complex investigations and undertaking enforcement action.
* Well-developed communication skills to convey complex ideas to a wide range of audiences.
* Strong stakeholder management capabilities, able to build positive working relationships across internal and external networks to achieve outcomes.
* Project management skills, as you will need to develop clear plans and timeframes for project implementation and manage project delivery from beginning to end.
