Bendigo UFS Pharmacies is a community-focused organisation that provides high-quality healthcare and exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking qualified and enthusiastic Dispensary Technicians to join our team in full-time and casual capacities.
The Role:
As a Dispensary Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the Pharmacy team by dispensing medications, managing dispensary stock, and providing excellent customer service. Working under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacists, you will help ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of pharmacy services to our community.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist with the dispensing of prescriptions in accordance with Pharmacy Board guidelines
· Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with legal requirements
· Perform stock control tasks including expiry checks, ordering, and proper storage
· Process and manage daily medication and special orders
· Accurately prepare and pack Webster (DAA) medication packs in accordance with patient profiles and pharmacy policies and procedures
· Liaise with pharmacy staff, patients, and healthcare providers to ensure timely and safe medication delivery
· Deliver professional, timely, and friendly service to customers
· Stay up to date with UFS Pharmacies products, services, and membership benefits
· Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to support smooth day-to-day operations
· Comply with UFS policies, procedures, and QCPP standards
About You:
· Certificate III in Community Pharmacy or equivalent dispensary training
· Sound knowledge of medications and pharmacy products
· Previous experience with webster packs will be highly regarded
· Excellent organisational and time management skills
· Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
· Able to work both independently and as part of a team
· Demonstrated commitment to customer service and professional standards
· Previous pharmacy or retail experience (preferred)
