Office Administrator – Construction & Electrical
Location: Homebush West
Full-Time | Permanent

About Us
My client is a growing construction and electrical services company with a strong reputation for delivering quality projects. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our team and provide vital support across our Electrical, Developments, and General business operations.

The Role
Reporting directly to management, this role will ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the office while supporting payroll, accounts, and project administration. You’ll play a key role in keeping our systems, records, and communications running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Electrical Division

- Log and process workers’ hours on jobs (fortnightly, Tuesday mornings)
- Payroll support and setup in Xero (fortnightly)
- Manage invoices and statements (monthly)
- Collect hours from supervisors
- Data entry and management of invoices and bills in Xero

Developments Division

- Collect hours from supervisor
- Payroll support and setup in Xero (monthly)
- Data entry and management of invoices and bills in Xero

General Office Duties

- Manage office supplies and place orders (Coles, Woolworths, Officeworks, etc.)
- Collect and distribute mail
- Manage shared emails and inboxes
- Scheduling and diary coordination
- Clerical duties and data input/tracking
- Document control and file management
- Use of Microsoft Word and Excel for reports, letters, and data tracking
- Assist with statement reconciliation (BP, Occom, Electricity, etc.)

About You

- Previous experience in office administration, preferably within construction, electrical, or related industries
- Strong knowledge of Xero payroll and accounts functions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
