We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Receptionist, (or an enthusiastic quick learning customer service officer who is keen to have a new career) to join our fast-paced GP Medical Practice based in Blackheath.
Reporting to the Practice Manager, and working as part of a team, you will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality patient experience as well as providing administrative support services to the clinical teams enabling them to run efficiently and professionally.
Key responsibilities of the role:
* Providing comprehensive administrative support to the clinical teams;
* Delivering excellent patient management including maintaining patient flow, greeting patients, recording and updating patient information and ensuring a smooth journey to and from the reception area and consulting rooms;
* Co-ordinate Medicare/DVA billings.
* Maintain electronic appointment booking systems, contact book, reminder systems.

* proficiency with Microsoft applications/Tech Savvy

* Exceptional attention to detail
* Demonstrated ability to maintain absolute confidentiality regarding patient and practice information
In addition, experience with Best Practice Software would be highly regarded.
The successful applicant must have flexibility and be able to work anywhere between the hours of 8:00am to 7:00pm on weekdays and Weekends.
