Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Data Intelligence - Realtime Analytics Platform
We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our newly formed Realtime Analytics Platform Team. We sit within the Data Intelligence Camp and are responsible for developing an internal platform capability that enables all product teams across Culture Amp to build analytics and reporting products by connecting data from across our platforms. This is a long-term project critical to the success of the business.
Responsibilities
* Design, build and manage the infrastructure for our realtime analytics platform.
* Ensure the platform is reliable, secure and performant.
* Collaborate regularly with customers of the platform to understand their needs and design suitable solutions.
* Iterate on the platform design as we evolve towards a self-service capability.
* Coach and mentor those around you to uplift our shared skills and capabilities.
* Set and elevate standards for quality on the team.
Qualifications
* Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code; Terraform is essential, CDKTF and TypeScript are ideal.
* Experience in cloud environments; AWS preferred.
* Strong familiarity with operational practices and systems (e.g. Observability, Security, CI/CD, Configuration management, etc.).
* Previous experience with data systems and platforms is a big plus (we're building on ClickHouse; knowledge of warehouses and pipelines will be helpful).
* A drive to learn and hone your engineering craft and to help others do the same.
