Lutheran Support Officers - Classroom Assistants


Contract Type: Permanent/Ongoing Position Part Time (0.67 FTE)

St Mark's Lutheran School is currently seeking two dedicated Part-Time Lutheran Support Officers (0.67 FTE & 0.5 FTE) to join our team. These roles offer the opportunity to work in a supportive Christian environment, contributing to the learning and wellbeing of our students during school terms.

St Mark's is excited to partner with passionate educators with a commitment to supporting students to thrive in a caring community. Applications are invited for the following positions:

* Lutheran Support Officer (LSO), 0.67 FTE | 8:30am – 3:10pm; and
* Lutheran Support Officer (LSO), 0.5 FTE | 8:30am – 1:00pm.

LSOs will work with our teachers to provide individual and small group support in literacy and numeracy learning, and with social and emotional needs. Our teaching team will largely prepare the activities to be used in supporting the students.

The successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to maintain the standards of our school and be able to make a positive contribution as a member of our staff team.

St Mark’s Lutheran School was established in 1982 by the St Mark’s Lutheran Church in Mount Barker to provide quality Christian education to our community. From small beginnings we have grown to a current enrolment of 369 students in 14 classes.
