## **PRIMARY DETAIL*** $111,643 to $121,045 (HEW Level 7) plus 17% employer's superannuation contribution and annual leave loading* FTC Contract Until 31st December **** | Hybrid Working* Based at Macquarie University, Wallumattagal Campus, North RydeMacquarie University is hiring for a Learning Designer for our Student 360 Program.
The Student 360 (S360) Phase 2 Program is a major component of Macquarie University's digital transformation strategy.As a Learning Designer, you will play a key role in designing and developing high-quality training solutions to enable business users to effectively operate new processes, data, reports and Salesforce CRM functionality.
Working under the guidance of the Instructional Design Manager, you will develop eLearning, instructional videos, user guides and assessments that meet the diverse needs of our staff.
**Key Responsibilities*** Work collaboratively with the instructional design team and other key stakeholders (e.g. SMEs) to contribute to the planning and development of effective, learner-centred training solutions* Design and develop engaging and interactive digital learning content including eLearning modules, instructional videos, animations and supporting resources using tools such as Articulate Rise and Camtasia* Apply accessibility guidelines and universal design principles to ensure learning materials are inclusive and meet compliance requirements* Support the development and maintenance of learning content across various Learning Management Systems (LMSs), ensuring materials are accurate, current and easy to navigate* Receive, interpret and implement feedback from stakeholders and team members in a timely and professional manner, ensuring continuous improvement of learning products* Contribute to the production of learning documentation including storyboards, scripts and quick reference guides (QRGs)* Assist with testing, quality assurance and review of learning materials prior to release* Demonstrate strong organisational skills by managing assigned tasks effectively and delivering work to agreed deadlines in a fast-paced environment* Communicate clearly and professionally with a range of stakeholders, translating complex information into practical and easily understood learning resources* Maintain accurate records of learning materials and project documentation in line with organisational requirements* Comply with relevant EEO, WHS and organisational policies and procedures* Perform any other duties as required and appropriate for this classification**About You*** Tertiary qualification in education, instructional design, learning design, educational technology or a related field and/or equivalent practical experience* Demonstrated experience in designing and developing digital learning content using Articulate Rise and Articulate Storyline* Strong experience creating instructional videos and animations with high proficiency in Camtasia or similar animation and video production tools* Experience working with a variety of Learning Management Systems (LMSs) including uploading SCORM packages* Working knowledge of accessibility standards and best practice for digital learning* Proven ability to receive and implement feedback constructively and effectively* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups* Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities* High attention to detail and commitment to quality* Well-developed interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-focused approachMacquarie is a university engaged with the real and often complex problems and opportunities that define our lives.
