Your new role
As the Training Specialist - Cybersecurity & Change Enablement, you will be responsible for designing, creating and delivering high‑quality training and enablement content that helps staff understand how to manage information securely in their day‑to‑day work.This is a training‑led role, not a technical cyber security position. Cybersecurity forms the context — your work translates security, governance and policy requirements into practical, accessible learning experiences that drive behavioural change across the will work across training development, change enablement and cybersecurity advisory, using insights from a high‑level information security review to directly inform the learning content and communications you produce.
Key responsibilities include:
* Designing and building interactive SCORM 1.2 eLearning modules (20–30 minutes) using Articulate 360 (Storyline and/or Rise)
* Developing training focused on secure information management, covering policy expectations, user responsibilities and practical use of Microsoft 365 tools
* Ensuring all learning materials meet WCAG 2.0 / 2.1 AA accessibility standards
* Creating supporting training artefacts such as tip sheets, help cards and transcripts (PPT, PDF, DOCX)
* Delivering training and communications that support adoption of new information management and cybersecurity practices
* Supporting pilot and co‑design activities from a training and engagement perspective
* Conducting a high‑level cybersecurity and information management review (advisory only) to identify risks, gaps and current controls
* Contributing security insights to inform secure MS Copilot readiness
* Producing clear, structured findings and recommendations in collaboration with IT Security stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in instructional design and training development, with strong hands‑on Articulate 360 capability
* Demonstrated experience delivering SCORM‑compliant training into government or enterprise LMS platforms
* A strong understanding of accessibility‑compliant learning design (WCAG 2.0 / 2.1 AA)
* Experience developing training or communications within government or highly regulated environments
* Practical knowledge of cybersecurity and information security principles, particularly as they relate to information management and user behaviour
* Familiarity with PSPF, ISM and ASD Essential Eight in an information management or governance context
* A working understanding of Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Purview) from a training and governance perspective
* The ability to translate cybersecurity risks and expectations into clear, engaging, non‑technical training
* An active NV1 security clearance (mandatory)
