Role Overview
The Trades Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our team of skilled tradespeople, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive support to tradespeople in various installation tasks.
Prepare and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure optimal efficiency.
Assist in the timely completion of project tasks, adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and safe worksite, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
Contribute to the overall productivity and efficiency of the team through collaborative efforts.
Assist with the loading and unloading of materials.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience as a Trades Assistant or in a similar labouring role within the construction or installation industry.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and practical skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive team environment.
A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a strong willingness to learn and adapt.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
Relevant trade qualifications or certifications are highly regarded.
