In this role, you will review and identify claims that do not fall within the scope of policies to ensure the correct outcome has been made. You will liaise with stakeholders to discuss outcomes and dispute resolution. You will also prepare and draft appropriate documentation for stakeholders when required.
Maintaining knowledge of insurance guidelines, legislation, regulations, and court decisions is essential for this role. You will recommend policy changes for continuous improvement and compliance.
You should have technical knowledge of relevant insurance lines and associated legislation. High attention to detail and proficiency with systems, software, databases, and communication tools are also required.
This is a proactive problem-solver role with strong decision-making skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities. You should balance understanding, empathy, and compassion with achieving commercial outcomes.
