Content Designer Role Overview
As a seasoned content designer, you will be responsible for driving a customer-obsessed culture by identifying, framing, and challenging content design problems. You will translate these problems into content choices that illustrate benefits and simplicity despite system complexity.
Key responsibilities include ensuring a high-quality bar for content and user experience, delivering high-quality, error-free, accessible content design work on time. You will develop lightweight, repeatable processes, workflows, and content templates that keep the team nimble and successful in a culture that values moving fast and iterating quickly.
You will also drive a culture of collaboration with product and engineering teams and external design agencies. You will take part in and conduct content design critiques, providing high-quality design practice and theory to draw out best possible content choice.
In addition, you will contribute to defining the future state vision and value proposition for content design using customer-centric design thinking and innovation methodologies.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking passionate, customer-centric content designers with demonstrable experience of planning and delivering large-scale content design initiatives within leading consumer-facing brands or organizations. Demonstrated skills in designing, writing, editing, testing, and improving content that makes our products easier to use are essential.
Experience contributing to the measurable success of one or more impactful consumer-facing products at scale is also necessary. Excellent collaboration skills, partnering with engineering, design, research, marketing, and data analytics, to take products from conception to launch are required.
Conducting content experiments and leveraging data & analytics to inform content choices and evaluate its impact are also key aspects of this role.
