The SKA Observatory is a next-generation radio astronomy facility that will revolutionize our understanding of the Universe and the laws of fundamental physics.
In Australia, we are collaborating with CSIRO to operate and support the construction of the low frequency telescope in remote Western Australia on Wajarri Yamaji Country.
You will work within the Assembly, Integration and Verification team, contributing to the integration and testing of this telescope being built on Wajarri Yamaji Country in remote Western Australia.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Leading the development and execution of the Systems AIV Plan aligned with the Observatory's Integration & Verification Strategy.
* Defining and managing the Continuous Integration & Verification flow including signal chain validation and use case development.
* Developing performance analysis tools and diagnosing system-level issues across the telescope and ITF.
* Representing the AIV team in product integration supplier training system acceptance and milestone reviews.
* Collaborating across global multi-disciplinary teams using Lean Agile processes to plan prioritize and deliver project outcomes.
* Building strong stakeholder relationships and sharing best practices for telescope characterization and performance evaluation.
