The Role
Working closely with Independent Financial Advisers and Mortgage Consultants, you will provide comprehensive administrative support throughout the full mortgage lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing mortgage applications from initial submission through to completion.
* Accurately inputting and maintaining client data using internal systems (IRESS/XPLAN).
* Submitting Decisions in Principle and mortgage applications to lenders.
* Supporting compliance processes, document checks, and file management.
* Liaising with clients, lenders, and third parties to ensure smooth progression and timely updates.
* Maintaining precise records and upholding high standards of data accuracy.
About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
* Previous experience in mortgage administration is preferred (experience within a whole-of-market or limited-panel environment is desirable but not essential).
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence using digital systems.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload effectively.
* A meticulous approach with strong attention to detail.
* Initiative and sound problem-solving skills, alongside effective time management.
* Professional and clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A collaborative, team-focused mindset.
* A commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Additional Information
Please note that this role is based in a rural location not accessible by public transport. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle will therefore be essential.
