Job Description
Student Associations Material Aid Coordinator programs aim to enhance the student experience through reducing the barriers to personal and educational success caused by cost-of-living pressures. The Material Aid Coordinator (titled Student Aid Coordinator in the advert), in partnership with students, will be responsible for coordinating a suite of programs that deliver everyday essentials (including food, personal care items, and household items) to students across the Brisbane, Logan, and Digital campuses.
* Coordinate office-based and market-style events for student material aid assistance.
* Develop strong relationships with local organisations, food relief providers, and suppliers.
* Expand the reach and impact of material aid programs, while maintaining flexibility to respond to student needs.
* Continuously improve programs based on student feedback and trends.
* Prepare reports and proposals for stakeholders.
* Manage administrative and logistical components of aid programs and merchandise distribution.
* Supervise staff and provide training and advice.
* Ensure compliance with legislation and University policies.
* Exhibit fairness, ethics, and professionalism in all actions.
About you
* Completion of a degree qualification in Social Work, Human Services, Community Development or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training.
* Current Blue Card or willingness to obtain one.
* Current open C class drivers' licence.
What we can offer
This is a Fixed-term, full time position until the end of December 2028. You will be primarily based at the Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan) campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations. Griffith University's campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
The full-time equivalent base salary will be HEW 6 in the range of $91,843 - $97,964 per annum, plus 17% superannuation.
