Essential Skills & Experience: Comprehensive Experience: Extensive professional experience spanning Business Analysis, System Analysis, and Solution Architecture. Business & Technical Alignment: Proven ability to rapidly grasp business needs, translate them into technical decisions, and design effective solutions around those requirements. Stakeholder & Multi-Vendor Engagement: Significant experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders across IT, Business, and Customer domains, as well as successfully navigating multi-vendor environments. Exceptional Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts. Proficient in creating comprehensive procedures, guidelines, and operational & maintenance documentation. Implementation Expertise: Hands-on experience in the successful implementation of applications, automation solutions, and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products. Operational Technology (OT) Design: Specific experience in designing solutions within Operational Technology (OT) environments. End-to-End Solution Ownership: Demonstrated capability to seamlessly connect requirements to a viable solution, a detailed delivery plan, and a comprehensive production implementation strategy. Proactive & Resourceful Attitude: A strong "can-do" attitude, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving capabilities. ICT Infrastructure Knowledge: Experience with various ICT infrastructure components including Firewalls, Databases, Servers, Security systems, and Desktop environments. Application Landscape Familiarity: Familiarity with modern application landscapes, such as Azure, JBoss, and Java. Integration Architecture: Experience in designing solutions for integration's, both custom-developed and COTS-based. Utility Sector Background: Experience working with major Utility service providers. As a Solution Architect, you will: Strategic Alignment: Ensure that all solution and development decisions remain consistently aligned with overarching business needs and strategic goals. Knowledge Transfer: Facilitate effective knowledge transfer of solution designs and technical insights within the project teams and across the organisation. Technical Leadership: Direct and coordinate the technical workstreams of programs, providing guidance and oversight to ensure technical integrity and quality. Change Management: Meticulously track and document changes to functional and business specifications throughout the project lifecycle. Documentation & Support: Create or assist others in the development of user documentation, instructions, and operational procedures. Full Lifecycle Management: Take responsibility for stitching together the entire solution lifecycle – from initial requirements, through solution design, delivery planning, and successful production implementation.
