Dermatology Nurse (Part-Time, Fridays) – Boutique Specialist Clinic in Bundoora
A boutique specialist dermatology clinic located within a modern medical centre in Bundoora is seeking an experienced Dermatology Nurse to join our growing practice.
Hours: Fridays 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (one clinic day to start, with additional days likely as the clinic expands).
About the Role
You will support the dermatologist during procedural and consulting sessions and help maintain smooth clinic flow throughout the day. Dermatology experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with dermatology procedures.
* Prepare rooms, organise instruments, maintain sterility, and restock consumables.
* Teach patients how to administer biologic therapy injections.
* Assist with applications for PBS-listed dermatology medications and communicate results.
* Help keep patient flow smooth throughout the clinic day, including guiding patients before and after their consultation.
* Answer patient questions within your scope and provide wound care guidance.
* Communicate results and assist with routine follow-up communication as required.
* Process patient payments at the end of the consultation.
* Maintain a tidy, organized clinical environment across the consult rooms and waiting area.
* Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and ensure dermatology instruments are available and functional.
About You
* Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN)
* Dermatology experience required
* Confident assisting with procedures and patient communication
* Professional, organised, warm, and attentive to detail
* Able to work independently and manage clinic flow smoothly
* Valid Australian work rights required
* Stable weekly shift with room for future expansion
* Close collaboration with a specialist dermatologist
