Job Description
We are hiring Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable IP network solutions within the telecommunications domain. This role requires a deep understanding of network architecture, security, and performance optimization, along with strong collaboration and troubleshooting capabilities
Core Responsibilities
* Planning, designing, and implementing IP networks in telecom domain.
* Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices to ensure seamless connectivity and performance.
* Implement and maintain robust security policies, including firewalls, IDS, and NAC, to protect network infrastructure.
* Diagnose and resolve network issues to maintain high availability and performance.
* Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies in line with industry standards.
* Work closely with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure network solutions align with business and technical requirements.
* Audit and manage IP address allocations to ensure efficient utilization.
* Continuously monitor network health, identify bottlenecks, and optimize configurations.
* Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and patching to ensure network stability and security.
* Apply proactive security measures to safeguard data and infrastructure from unauthorized access.
Job Description - Grade Specific
* Strong understanding of IP protocols, routing, switching, and core networking technologies.
* Proven experience in designing and implementing network architectures across diverse environments.
* Ability to diagnose complex network issues and implement effective solutions.
* Familiarity with network security frameworks and technologies.
* Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Bachelor’s degree or tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
* Industry certifications such asCCNA,CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
