Casual Warehouse Storeperson/Driver – Medium Rigid License Required
We are seeking an experienced and reliable casual Warehouse Storeperson/Driver with a high level of enthusiasm to join our team. In this role, you will not only handle general warehouse duties but also be responsible for delivering orders to our customers in and around Hobart using our company vehicles. A valid Medium Rigid (MR) license is essential.
Working days are spread from Monday to Friday. We are conveniently located and offer a fantastic team culture with a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Picking, packing, and preparing stock for customer orders.
* Putting away stock and supplies in their correct locations.
* Assisting with the receiving and dispatching of stock.
* Loading and unloading stock safely and efficiently.
* Delivering customer orders using company vehicles, including driving a Medium Rigid truck.
* Planning delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
* Conducting vehicle pre-start checks and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.
* General housekeeping and warehouse duties.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Warehouse Storeperson/Driver.
* Valid Medium Rigid (MR) driver's license.
* Forklift license is highly desirable.
* Physically fit, self-motivated, reliable, and willing to work hard.
* Stable work history and excellent attendance record.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work well within a team environment.
* Commitment to working safely and delivering excellent customer service.
