**Job Description Summary**: Reporting to the Asia Pacific General Manager, the ANZ Sales Leader will be responsible for the regional team driving sales across a range of diverse markets, including Renewables, Rail, Mining, Maritime, Microgrid and Defence. With the support of technical resources in the region, our global centres of excellence and at the various GE Power Conversion factories, the Sales Leader will coordinate the various offerings of power electronics, rotating machines, automation & control, digital and services pivotal to the operation and decarbonization across these industries.
**Role Responsibilities and requirements**
- Leadership, growth and development of the ANZ sales team and associated support functions, driving both short and medium/long term sales strategies for the GE Power Conversion portfolio, ensuring appropriate sales coverage and performance to plan.
- Secure key new unit and project opportunities for the Australian market and manage the Australian sales and fleet manager team.
- Working with the regional and global leadership team for the development of growth strategies and necessary resource deployment.
- Leadership of the services sales and fleet manager team that provide services, products and support to the large Australian installed base.
- Accountability of key business metrics, including Orders, Down Payments and Sales Margin growth.
- Be the voice of the customer and able to translate their needs cross-functionally within GE Power Conversion organization.
- Develop and mentor a high performing commercial team across the ANZ sub region.
- Ensure operational excellence in the areas of integrity, controllership, and compliance
**Qualifications / Requirements**:
- Experience in offering solutions to Rail, Mining, Renewable, Oil & Gas, Marine or Power Generation Segments
- Possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience with at least 5-10 years in a similar capacity or industry focus
- Sales team leadership experience
- Proven track record in the ability to sell both complex systems and products
