About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced SAP Functional Travel Management Specialist for a long-term Federal Government client. You will work on the Parliamentary Expenses Management System (PEMS), helping to design business processes and integrate key SAP modules like Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), and Human Resources (HR).
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct workshops with stakeholders to define business needs.
* Develop integration plans for current and future processes.
* Create and maintain blueprint documents.
* Configure SAP for PEMS functionalities.
* Provide support for financial processes in the SAP environment.
* Support data migration and integration efforts.
* Mentor team members and facilitate knowledge transfer.
* Work with the project team to resolve technical issues.
Qualifications:
* 10+ years of experience in SAP travel and expense management systems, with expertise in FI, CO, and HR modules.
* Strong understanding of travel and expense management processes.
* Experience in accounts payable and the travel and expense process.
* Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Knowledge of accounting standards and legislative requirements in the public sector.
* Experience in creating specifications and documentation.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with migration concepts and tools.
* Public sector experience.
* Familiarity with SAP ECC6 environments within Federal Government.
* Relevant SAP certifications.
* Ability to transfer knowledge to APS personnel.
