Hotel Duty Manager
The Hotel Duty Manager role is a crucial position at the Holiday Inn Express Sydney Airport, where you will be responsible for driving engagement and product quality, ensuring superior guest service, and adhering to local government regulations.
This full-time position requires a strong leader who can create a positive work environment, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure compliance with brand standards. You will also be expected to support other properties as needed within your area or by agreement in another State.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Returns:
o Maximise revenue using company and IHG systems and processes.
o Ensure internal audit compliance and cash security procedures are followed.
o Manage stock control and ordering to meet business needs.
o Monitor departmental costs and maintain cost efficiencies.
* People:
o Direct staffing requirements, plan work, and establish performance goals for team members.
o Mentor and coach employees to enhance performance and conflict resolution.
o Recognise high-potential employees and develop their career plans.
* Guest Experience:
o Ensure guests receive prompt service, professional attention, and personal recognition.
o Respond to guest complaints and feedback, and build relationships for continuous improvement.
* Responsible Business:
o Maintain exemplary department standards of behaviour and appearance.
o Inspect front-of-house and back-of-house areas for cleanliness and safety.
