We are seeking an experienced and dependable Dispensary Technician to join our wonderful team. Part time or full-time hours are available for the right candidate.
We are open 96 hours per week, so can offer flexibility across our hours for the right candidates.
TerryWhite Chemmart Charnwood is an award-winning, progressive community pharmacy open 96 hours a week and supported by a team of over 60 professionals. Our owner-pharmacists, Bec and Samantha, work in the business every day, building a culture that puts patients first and a team who is high-performing and supports each other everyday.
We deliver comprehensive healthcare services including vaccinations, Opioid Replacement Therapy and extended scope clinical services — and our dispensary team plays a critical role in making this possible.
About the Role This is a key position within our dispensary, working closely with pharmacists to ensure prescriptions are processed safely, accurately and efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on patient care.
Key Responsibilities
• Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Manage prescription workflow to support timely patient service
• Maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality
• Support stock control and dispensary organisation
• Liaise professionally with patients, prescribers and healthcare providers
• Step in and assist across the pharmacy where needed to support overall team workflow
• Uphold compliance with QCPP and pharmacy legislation
About You
• Previous experience in a dispensary role (highly regarded)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible and willing to help wherever needed
