About The Role
The Dubbo community CAMHS team is focused on providing evidence-based, high-quality, and person-centred clinical care to children, youth, and their families and carers, with significant and complex mental health challenges.
The CAMHS service works with young people for whom a mental health crisis or emerging mental illness is significantly impacting their quality of life and daily functioning. Most often, our clients are experiencing multiple complex mental health challenges that are resulting in elevated distress and reduced functioning. Our care interventions continue until the young person's recovery can be maintained with lower intensity services or primary care providers.
The Clinical Lead - Dubbo Infant, Child, Youth & Family Mental Health Services will provide professional clinical services demonstrating sound clinical reasoning, effective problem-solving skills, and quality management of clinical situations to improve health and wellbeing. The Clinical Lead will also supervise and mentor staff, offering clinical advice, support, consultation, and education for clinicians.
