Technical Support Specialist Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Geelong. As a key member of our Service Desk, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality technical support to our clients across various technologies and platforms.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in IT support and service desk experience. You will be responsible for providing Level 2 technical support, troubleshooting and resolving incidents, and maintaining accurate documentation of all work completed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support across desktops, servers, and cloud systems
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly, escalating when required
* Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all work completed
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in IT support or a related field
* Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and environments
* Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency
* A valid driver's license
Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with service management tools, networking (WAN, VPN, firewalls, TCP/IP), and Microsoft 365 administration would be highly desirable.
