The Role
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to provide daily operational support for the technology underpinning our Circulation functions, specifically the Naviga application and its integrated platforms (Finance, Subscribers, Circulation, Distribution, NCS, Salesforce, Premonition, CCS, etc.). This role involves managing external vendor relationships, monitoring the Naviga application stack, monitoring and maintaining the THINK subscription platform. You will also provide 24/7 support via a rotating roster for critical and non-critical functions, ensuring service continuity and adherence to defined SLAs.
Responsibilities
* Provide daily operational support for the Naviga application and its integrated platforms.
* Manage external vendor relationships and outputs, coordinating tasks and escalating issues as required.
* Monitor and maintain service levels, utilising key enterprise incident and request management tools like Service Now.
* Support and plan the release of approved operational strategic and tactical development requests.
* Proactively identify and mitigate potential issues, developing solutions to prevent their occurrence.
* Work within a rotating roster to provide 24/7 coverage for all incidents and issues.
Who you are
* An individual with strong customer and outcome-focused behaviours.
* Experienced in managing daily technical and data issues across complex application stacks.
* Proficient in incident management (P1 and P2) and resolving issues based on criticality.
* A team player, capable of working effectively within a rotating roster for 24/7 support.
* Able to identify and document solution approaches for technical and process delivery.
* Previous DB management experience with exposure to or experience in Windows .Net Application Support, Microsoft Windows Server Support,SQL knowledge, Powershell knowledge, working with Microsoft SQL Server developer.
