Job Description:

* Detect and diagnose faults in engines and parts.
* Repair and replace worn and defective parts and reassemble mechanical components, referring to service manuals as needed.
* Reassemble engines and parts after being repaired.
* Test and adjust mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance.
* Fault finding.
* Testing and commissioning of new machines.
* Ensure paperwork & records are complete.
* Pre & Post checks of machines / equipment.
* Assist stakeholders with technical enquiries.
* Test equipment and check that specific requirements have been met.
* Carry out mechanical inspections in accordance with manufacturers' requirements.
* Strip and assess equipment for repairs.
* Plan and maintain fleet equipment.
* Planning preventative maintenance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Australian Recognised Trade Qualification of a Mechanical discipline.
* Working at Heights certificate (within 2 years - desirable).
* Confined Space Entry certificate (within 2 years - desirable).
* Breathing Apparatus certificate (desirable).
* Gas Test Atmosphere (desirable).
* Current Drivers License (essential).
* High Risk Work License (advantageous).
* Full Australian work rights.
* HR/HC Drivers License (Desirable)
